Definitely the epitome of childhood games, played by older children. Very tacky. R&R pls!
Truth or Dare

Characters with a brief description of each:

Olivia Jade Wright: female, 15 years of age
Christopher Daniel Myers: male, 16 years of age
Andrew Mark Williams: male, 14 years of age

[SETTING: church fellowship hall, ALL CHARACTERS sitting around a table. Very basic. A bird clock is essential to the scene, and should be placed in a very central part of the set.]
[curtain opens. Beat.]
OLIVIA: I am so bored!
CHRISTOPHER: Well, we should do something.
OLIVIA: Like what?
CHRISTOPHER: Like, oh I don't know. (beat.)How about 10 Fingers?
OLIVIA: 10 Shots, more like.
CHRISTOPHER: I'm terribly sorry, love, but we are out of alcohol here at the Apple Mart.
ANDREW: (sitting up suddenly) We're not at the Apple Mart. (OLIVIA and CHRISTOPHER ignore him.)
OLIVIA: (swooning in distress) Whatever will we do for fun?
ANDREW: We could play Truth or Dare.
OLIVIA: That game is so childish.
CHRISTOPHER: Says the person whose favourite game is 'Duck Duck Goose'?
OLIVIA: Hey. That takes strategic ways and intellectual thought process.
CHRISTOPHER: Two things you are incapable of.
OLIVIA: You are so kind to me.
ANDREW: Erm, didn't he just insult you?
OLIVIA: (to ANDREW) Yes.
ANDREW: That's not kind. That's mean.
CHRISTOPHER: (to ANDREW) Sarcastic.
[Beat.]
ANDREW: Oh! So let's play Truth or Dare now.
OLIVIA: (to CHRISTOPHER) Please come up with another suggestion of what to do!
CHRISTOPHER: I got nothing.
ANDREW: You just don't want to play because you know I'll win.
OLIVIA: Oh, don't be absured. I don't want to play because I don't like Truth or Dare!
CHRISTOPHER: I think Andrew's right.
OLIVIA: Christopher! How can you side with him?
CHRISTOPHER: Because he's right, my dear.
OLIVIA: He is not.
CHRISTOPHER: Is too.
OLIVIA: (leans toward CHRISTOPHER menacingly) Is not.
CHRISTOPHER: (mirrors OLIVIA) Is too.
OLIVIA: He is not right.
CHRISTOPHER: He is too.
ANDREW: You know, you're both acting really childish right now.
OLIVIA and CHRISTOPHER: Am not!
ANDREW: Are too.
OLIVIA: Am...
[Beat.]
OLIVIA: (to CHRISTOPHER) Oh... I guess we are.
[Beat.]
ANDREW: Are we going to play Truth or Dare now?
OLIVIA: Fine! But only to shut you up!
ANDREW: Awesome! I'll start. Christopher, truth or dare?
CHRISTOPHER: (jutting out his chest noticebly) Dare.
OLIVIA: Ooh, daring!
CHRISTOPHER: (aside to OLIVIA) Not really. What's the worst he can come up with?
ANDREW: Do the chicken dance.
CHRISTOPHER: (still to OLIVIA) See? (he does dance) Not so bad.
ANDREW: (to CHRISTOPHER) Your turn!
CHRISTOPHER: Okay... Olivia, truth or dare?
OLIVIA: Truth.
ANDREW: Scared?
OLIVIA: Lazy. (to CHRISTOPHER) Ask the question.
CHRISTOPHER: Okay, truth... erm... gee, I don't know. You sure you don't want dare?
OLIVIA: Positive. (yawns.) Just ask the question.
CHRISTOPHER: Okay, erm... (to ANDREW) Help me out here!
ANDREW: (as if reading from a manual) I cannot help unless you forfeit the question responisbility over to me.
CHRISTOPHER: Fine.
OLIVIA: Turkey!!
CHRISTOPHER: I do prefer the other white meat, actually.
ANDREW: I don't get--
CHRISTOPHER and OLIVIA: Pork.
ANDREW: What?
OLIVIA: Just ask the question!
ANDREW: What was your first kiss like?
OLIVIA: Awkward.
ANDREW: Ooh, who did you kiss?
CHRISTOPHER: (overlap) Only one question per turn!
ANDREW: Why do you care?
OLIVIA: Yeah, Chris, why do you care?
CHRISTOPHER: Rules are rules.
OLIVIA: "A toll is a toll." (CHRISTOPHER is obviously annoyed, ANDREW is confused) "A roll is a roll. And without no toll I don't get no roll."
CHRISTOPHER: Yeah...
ANDREW: What?
OLIVIA: Inside joke.
CHRISTOPHER: It's your turn, Olives.
OLIVIA: (to CHRISTOPHER) Okay, Crusteys, truth or dare?
CHRISTOPHER: I don't care.
OLIVIA: Yes you do. Pick one.
CHRISTOPHER: Fine. I do care. I just can't choose.
ANDREW: According to the rules... (opens manual)
CHRISTOPER: What is that?
ANDREW: The rule book for Truth or Dare. Anyway, according to the rules, 'if a player does not choose a truth or dare for any reason, they submit themselves to the choice of their questioner. The player also must answer or perform the truth or dare respectively, seeing as they were unable to pick themselves.'
OLIVIA: Kiss Andrew.
CHRISTOPHER: What?!
OLIVIA: You heard me.
CHRISTOPHER: You're pure evil. He smells funny!
OLIVIA: Hutton, dearest, I really don't care. Do it!
CHRISTOPHER: That's even worse.
OLIVIA: Do it! (CHRISTOPHER leans in and kisses ANDREW quickly on the cheek) Hang on, why is that worse?
CHRISTOPHER: Timothy Hutton is old.
OLIVIA: He wasn't old when he was twenty.
CHRISTOPHER: Which one is he again?
OLIVIA: Ted in Secret Window.
CHRISTOPHER: Who?
OLIVIA: Ted. The one Amy left Johnny Depp for.
CHRISTOPHER: No, not that one. The war movie.
OLIVIA: What war movie?
CHRISTOPHER: The military movie. The one where they're at military school and it closes or something.
OLIVIA: Taps.
ANDREW: How can you be so positive?
CHRISTOPHER: It's her favourite movie.
ANDREW: Did Timothy Hutton win Man of the Year in 1938?
OLIVIA: That was Hitler. Timothy Hutton wasn't even around in 1938.
ANDREW: Do you think he's hot or something?
OLIVIA: Now?
ANDREW: Yeah.
OLIVIA: No. I mean, he was, but now... not so much.
ANDREW: What?
CHRISTOPHER: (bored) He's a Cary Elwes figure. Not so much as Johnny Depp, but definitely with similarities to both actors with physical attributions and age.
ANDREW: (after a moment) I don't understand.
CHRISTOPHER: Cary Elwes is attractive but not sexiest man of the year material. All three of the actors, Hutton, Depp, and Elwes were all considerably attractive when they were younger, but now Depp is the only one that many people consider hot.
ANDREW: Huh?
CHRISTOPHER: When Timothy Hutton was younger, he was more attractive than he is today, being not so young and with different attributes that Olivia finds less attractive.
ANDREW: So did he win Sexiest Man of the Year in 1938?
CHRISTOPHER: That contest wasn't started until the 1940s.
ANDREW: Oh. You knew all this?
CHRISTOPHER: (motions toward OLIVIA) I know her.
OLIVIA: Christopher!
CHRISTOPHER: What?
OLIVIA: It's your turn!
ANDREW: I thought you hated Truth or Dare!
OLIVIA: (to ANDREW) Shut up. (to CHRISTOPHER) Pick someone.
CHRISTOPHER: (while glaring at OLIVIA) Andrew.
ANDREW: What?
CHRISTOPHER: (continues to glare at OLIVIA) Truth or Dare?
ANDREW: Dare.
CHRISTOPHER: Go out to my car and get my phone.
ANDREW: Okay!
OLIVIA: (overlap) Come on!
(ANDREW exits)
OLIVIA: You are pathetic!
CHRISTOPHER: I'm bored. Andrew is annoying. I don't want to play this childish game anymore!
OLIVIA: (taken aback) Okay. We can stop.
[Beat.]
OLIVIA: Why are you being so short today?
CHRISTOPHER: I just had a bad night is all.
OLIVIA: Want to talk about it?
(ANDREW enters)
ANDREW: I'm back! Here's your phone Chris! Olivia, truth or dare?
OLIVIA: We're done playing that game, Andrew. Go away.
ANDREW: I don't want to!
OLIVIA: Andrew! Stop being a pathetic child and leave us alone!
ANDREW: (dawning in comprehension) Oh! You guys want to be alone so you can play kissy-face, don't you! (makes kissing noises) (CHRISTOPHER exits quickly)
What's up with him?
OLIVIA: Seriously, Andrew, shut up. (exits)
ANDREW: What did I do?
