For those who dislike Christianity and for those who have Christian beliefs. |
First of all, I want to say this poem here isn't Anti-Christian nor Blasphemous, but if after reading it, you believe it is so... well, What can I do to convince otherwise? -Perfect Christianity- Your spirit world I disbelieve For every little thing I couldn’t conceive. Your big machine has lost a wheel It was every little thing I wanted you to feel. I’m in another time and another place ‘Cause inside my mind it seems to be a different state Pills for the illness, give me your lobotomy I need another recipe for your so called perfect Christianity. Like a soldier always in guard I’ll never expect for this to receive a reward. Your fairy tale will burn down The seven trumpets will bring out the sound. I’m in another body and another head ‘Cause inside my thoughts the colors weren’t so red Straps for the urges, give me your lobotomy I need another dose of your so called perfect Christianity. I guess it never means a thing Until it means everything Paint it black; cover it in a white veil It’s always best for the sale. There’s always one more line to say Before the midst of it all fades away… This must be some lie, must be some mistake ‘Cause inside my mind I can’t believe all that’s at stake Clips for the eyes, give me your lobotomy I need another recipe for your so called perfect Christianity. |
