REALLY short and pointless.
Elka started at Hansel for a moment after he fell asleep. The fact that he had some how been poisoned was  really bothering him. He should have been more careful, but he thought he had thought of everything. He had no idea
how it had happened. Looking up he saw the nurse who had been standing over the bed waiting for them to finish. He stood up and and gave her one of his best smiles.
"You will take care of him right? Make sure his fever stays down."
She looked down and blushed, "Yes sir! Of course, the doctor has given him medicine and-" she trailed off realizing she had been talking to much. Blushing she looked at him quickly. He gave another one of his best smiles and quickly left the room. The Nurses really are getting stupider and stupider.
He looked in a mirror for a moment as he passed it in the hallway. He needed to start paying more attention to his appearance. He had been fifteen when they first arrived and so now, if you payed attention and age was one of the only things these shallow people did, he was supposed to be twenty four now. He frowned, he really had been forgetting about this, though really it was that he didn't like looking older, and now he still looked like a late teen. No one else really minded that he hadn't seemed to age much either but he was getting to the point that they would start to be suspicious if he continued to do so. He added a little wrinkle on his eye but quickly took it away. Annoyed he sighed and decided to deal with this later.
In a bad mood he continued along the hallway. He knew where he needed to go but was dreading it. He had been getting very emotional lately and didn't know why. It would be bad if these people were influencing him. He stopped for a moment and regained the calm state of mind he was known for and continued to Lord Tomby's quarters.
