About how we feel when we just want to graduate into life
I am looking into the window of my life
It isn't there, because, I haven't handed it in yet.
I need to revise it.

I filled in the bubbles of hope.
After an hour I recieved a C.
Could I have gone back and changed an answer?
Maybe I forgot to fill in an answer all together?

I wrote the essay of family.
Some of the words were backwards.
My margins of patience weren't big enough.
My outline isn't quite complete. No one told me,
about the paragraphs of scrapes and tears.

I took notes on friendship.
Some were short hand, some were long.
They said I needed more sources in conversation.
Finally, after writing by hand, I threw two pages away.
I moved to a new desk and started again.

I am looking into the window of my life.
Life has finally been assigned a grade.
I got an A-
Almost perfect...but not quite.
