I needed help
But no one was there
Only a dark shadow
To envelope my days.
But then you came by
And cast light upon my shadow
And drove the darkness away.
You always listened
To what I had to say.
Even if you did not like it,
You stood by my side.
Friendship is true,
Love is binding.
I am grateful for one
But I would like the two.
