The dollhouse I live in.
Welcome to my home.
A home that is not a home, but a dollhouse with imitations kept inside.
Going through the motions when the light is on and watching,
Then as the sides close together and it goes dark -- a harsh reality sets in.
The male "dad"doll lays on his couch or sits at a computer day and night,
Speaking only to his son, the mother and occasionally the youngest.
He spends plastic on things that can't be afforded for his own benefit,
And throws tantrums over idiotic little petty things.
The female "mother" doll, wakes her children with kind words in the morning,
Goes to her part-time job at the local KMART and makes it home on time to be with the fam.
She caters to the spoiled needs of the 2 males and trys to please everyone.
Someone who deserves better than what her spouse can provide her with.
The eldest child lays on his bed-ridden ass and pisse's and moans all day long,
Thinking everybody owes him something and gets whatever he asks for.
Money handed to him, time out whenever -- the consequnce? A dimwitt dickheaded personality.
Just a waste of a human body and mind he is.
The second-eldest, the daughter who never wants to be at home,
Planns on leaving once her age hits 18, and leaving this shithole behing.
She loves her mother dearly and doesn't see why she bothers staying...
The daughter doesn't bring any "friends" to her house, she finds security elswhere...
And she's ignored by the male "dad" role figure....who cares.
The youngest daughter, the baby of the family...Hurts easily and sticks beside her mother regardless
But as well, finds happiness elsewhere...

I don't live at home. I live in a dollhouse that pretends to be wholesome.
My home is somewhere else, just out of reach, just over the horizon.
