Fight It

      Fight It

Lost in the past, so it would seem,
constantly my logic fight's it,

against my will if you know what I mean,
theses images were never invited,

flashing awake, not only in dream,
a choice? Not mine, so I fight it,

the battle, it frustrates, so I scream,
crippling and cruel, mind divided,

there is hope, a glimmer, a gleam,
a way to see happy, I know, cause I tried it,

I shout "Shut Up", really loud, really mean,
my tangled rope with the knot, I untied it,

excepting now, and all in between,
joy and sadness are now invited.
