A fine poem about my atrocious writing =] |
Word entrapped abomination My fiends are enshrined upon the page, Every betrayed thought and twisted concept. Beast infecting new dwelling with a monstrous rage, Torn from my mind onto the desecrated paper it's kept. I have chained it in this eternal prison, Purged the horrid mutilation it formed. Pinned now upon a parchment defamed, With scorching black strokes as fission. Before it became this scripted toxic waste, It seared my psyche with molten self pity. Feasting upon hope with raucous distaste, Devouring happiness with deadly acidity. But now I lock them in this form, These runes recreate the sinister aura. I can remember its foul and vehement storm, By reading the beasts violent Torah; But black abomination from the soul, Can no longer rear its ugly head in heart. Authors notes: It doesn't flow quite as well rhythmically as my other poems, but I think that suits this particular piece. Construtive criticisms are apprciated!
