Descriptive poem about the transition from day to night
The Night

Vibrant shades of yellow and red
Clash over the hills
Sphere warrior with rays flashing gold
Fights to stay alive

Whispering winds of low humidity
tell of his defeat
The balmy air begins to grow old,
cause Night has arrived

Clinging frantically to rocks and shrubs,
some children battle home.
The twisted talons of Night's blackness
Steal them all away.

Their sweet smell of lilac and grass stains
Drift further away!
Night has come put them to rest;
missing to this day!
