A poem about child abuse, and the general effect it has upon humanity.
We are the forgotten generation
But will be remembered well, in future eyes at least
Please tell, how many times did you beat us?
How many times did we cry?
Why did we deserve this?
But soon comes liberation, a cartharsis to forget
Forgotten generation begets, when the teller becomes the tale.

We are the forgotten generation
But will be mourned, from tearful eyes at least
Please tell, how many did you rape?
How many children died?
Did we deserve this?
Enter liberation, our cartharsis to forget.
Teller becomes tale, forgotten generation is lost
But spawns a new birth

They are the forgotten generation
As seen, taught, guided through our eyes.
Please tell, how many times will we beat them?
How many will we rape?
How many will bleed?
Who will die?
But soon comes extrication, to forget permanent.
Forgotten generation fails, and the teller becomes mere tale.

We deserve this.
