Passion is Never Lost...

When we have feelings,
How is it that society takes them and crushes them,
Only to throw them back into our faces?

A candle burns brightly,
But someone outs it and gives it back.
You still have the candle,

But the feeling of warmth and passion,
Is gone with the flame.
What then?

We take it and throw it into a drawer never to be lit again?
Or is the flame still there-burning,
Just as brightly or brighter, but hidden?

Passion is never lost...
Just disguised.
