About how naive I am not being able to see the world as it is.
I’m naive, more naive than anyone else
I imagine the world to be a perfect place
Even though I know it is not
My mind tells me it is

I’m naive, so ignorant about what is going on
I imagine that everyone is happy and all is well
But then I learn the truth
That my imaginations are wrong

I’m naive, why can’t I see things as they are
I don’t believe in my imaginations anymore
And the pain that people bare
It is a pain I have never felt

I’m naive, because I have lived a good life
My family, my friends, my life has always been good
And now I face the truth
Do I dare embrace it?
