Thats just life

The world can be such an awful place,
With hate and hardship written all over your face.
The only ones who can switch your frown,
Are the ones in life who are never around.
You may feel worthless, and lonely too,
About as important as gum under your shoe.
What you dont know, isnt hard to understand,
There's alway's someone there to lend out a hand.
They may not come at your every beckon call,
But if you trip, they'll never let you fall.
It could be a friend, or the guy down the street,
But anybody who cares is hard to beat.
So be a friend who'll listen and feel their pain,
And soon enough the sun will shine through the rain.
