Almost Lovers

I never thought I would have to do this kind of thing. I never thought that I would feel this way about anything or anyone. But there I was, hopeless with teardrops rolling down my cheek. Was this the way life was going to be? I walked away without injury on my body, but inside, I was aching everywhere. How on earth was I supposed to go on like this? Staring at what was the worst thing to ever happen to me, I did the worst thing that I've ever had to do. I said goodbye to my almost lover.
