This is a poem I wrote about a guy I know named Ian.
You smiled at me,
Hypothetically speaking.

My life is a time bomb that is endlessly ticking,

Ticking away,
Wasting away,

Numbing the core of another grey day.
Where the skies are always dreary.

No longer can I think clearly,

Sanely, mainly…

About how much I loved and now hate you.

You’re so F-ed up.
You will never be touched.
And we got so close
And you gave me a shot.

In your dark house alone, your dead heart will rot.

You lied to me.
You cried for me.

You somehow loved me back.
Always together, forever,
The past.
A dream.

A fading memory.

Oh we were both so simple, just tried to be ourselves.
It took a while to come around, for you to cast your spell.
To hex a curse and spread a plague.
You pulled me right into your premature grave.

My sweet and silent Apathy.
Do you remember laughing with me?

Had it happened to you before?
Was I an interruption…
To your life behind closed doors?

And for every door that closes, a window somewhere opens.
And in my room,
My infinite gloom,
You somehow still can haunt me.

I never have felt rage.

But for you, it’s another grey day.
And for this, I hate you.
I hate you.
I loathe you.
I could write on for many years,
A story of sorrow of pain and of tears,
You have cost me.

And you’ll be so sorry
When you see that you’ve lost me.

Never really appreciated,
I was the one that you loved and hated.
The only one that you could find when you had to breathe and were loosing your mind.
Now will come the end.

Don’t you wish we’d never met?

In you dark house at night,
Do you try to forget?
