Introductions are in Order?

For starters I will shake your hand,
I'm glad to see you,
And I hope your life is grand,

Secondly I shall introduce,
My name is Adam,
And I'm rather obtuse,

My view of earth,
And life around me,
May sound slightly cursed,
For it is what I see,

I'm happy and bouncy,
When timing is right,
Needed in this deep shadow,
Is my burning light,

I understand time is precious,
For mine own is no change,
I can see the good and bad,
For that some call me deranged,

Speaking of time,
Mine is short now,
At least it all rhymed,
And I leave with a bow.
