My Friend the Element

Just as she doesn't know how much she protects me,
She doesn't know how much I protect her,
The element is fearless and friendly,
And carries around a beacon of light
That illuminates the universe with hope.
A sincere and lustrous devotion is what compells me
To be her friend.
A unique and sincere friendship,
That the element ignores
As no one else has treated her,
The way I have treated her.
I don't ask anything in exchange
Just her friendship and companionship
As she has been cheering and teasing me
For a long time.
I pray for her well being
And I hope God guides her through a rightful path.
I want her to be perfect, I want her to behave,
As she is important to me.
I want those around her
To take good care of her.
As she is the element,
As she is my element.
