World Peace

  Peace for the world 
  seems simple to say.
  Yet, people seem unable to
  own the values we all claim to praise.
 
  Is anyone really faithful? To a point. Possibly.
  Are we upright, or honest? If there's a benefit to be.   
  Do we exude compassion, or
  allow others to be redeemed?
  A deficit resides in each of us that
  the world herself can see.
 
  Why not feed a child in need,
  hold an old man's hand?
  Reach out and give some wounded soul
  the foundation and strength to stand.
  Eliminate small sufferings that sit like
  a curse upon this land.

  Peace for the world
  is simple just to say.
  In order to realize it,
  we must all practice.
  Everyday.
