As a newborn baby
My life started wrong
Scarred from the beginning
This I couldn’t have known
My life’s all wrong

As a young child
I’m yet so alone
Three brothers, four sisters
But their also gone
Taken by our dad

When I was a teen
I felt I couldn’t go on
Too much pain and sorrow
Life to me never was fun
What I did shouldn’t have been done

Into my late teens
I tried to be grown
To young to be married
That too was a wrong turn
My Heart still unhappy

Early into my adulthood
I was trying to move on
With a husband and four children
Had I finally overcome
Was I to be happy
