Once I was a boy.
Now I am a man... right?

Once I was clean-cut.
Now I am scruffy.

Once I felt young.
Now I feel worn.

Once I had great optimism, but little need for it.
Now I have little optimism and a great need.

Once I wasn't disillusioned.
Now I am.

Once I enjoyed school.
Now I must force myself.

Once I was impressionable.
Now I make impressions.

Once I had no idea.
Now I have seen for myself.

Once I could sleep at night.

Now I don't bother to draw those lines.
