This is a poem about how there has to be more.
there has to be more to this
than broken lives
and clinched up fists

drugs on the streets
and pregnant teens
are all consumed by broken dreams

guns and violence everywhere you turn
drunk drivers causing deaths
when will they learn

is this what our world has become
hate-filled and broken
we're running out of time
