Chapter four

Jade shouted a shield spell to bar the doorway,and then calmed herself to say the spell.Hoping it wouldn't do to much damage to her friend Jade shouted, "
Return to your own bodily coils
And leave this soul in peace
Before you taint what once was pure,".
The demon lauched a barray of attacks at Jade befoe being forcefully expelled from Ashley's body.Jade placed the Book of Shadows back on th pedestal,then rushed over to Ashley.Ashley moaned,but her eyes were closed and her breathing shallow.Now that the adrenaline was fading Jade could do nothing more than cradle Ashley in her arms and lean against the ruined door frame.Humming softly Jade soon gave into exhaustion.

The next time she awoke the sun was high in the sky.Groaning,Jade looked at her clock.Exactly twelve 'o' clock.Jade was just about to pull the covers back over her head when Jaybriel walked into the room."Come to tell me how stupid I am?"asked Jade.Jaybriel shook his head as he crossed the room to Jade's bed."Ashley's laying on the couch.She says the demon that attacked you has no name and she's not gonna take this sitting down,"he said. "Nice bed talk,"muttered Jade.Jaybriel chuckled. "Anyway,how do you banish something if you don't have a name?" asked Jade.A chair materialized behind Jaybriel and he sat down."You banish her and give her more time to gather strength.Think you could handle her is she were any stronger?" he asked. "No,"Jade admitted."But I wonder.Who did I take from her?"

When Jade finally got the strength to get out of bed she found Jaybriel in the kitchen cooking,a rarity,and Ashley sat in a protective circle.Meditating to gather the energy she needed.Jade took a deep breath,and then walked into the kitchen."I'm sorry,"she said.Jaybriel didn't respond.Jade started to turn around, but Jaybriel said,"I put charms on you to dull the pain,but they'll wear off quicker if you move around,". "I can't sit around in bed all day!"protested Jade.Jaybriel took the coffee pot and poured a cup of coffee.As he walked by Jade Jaybriel said,"I will tie you to the bed,".Knowing he would Jade walked back into her bedroom.

Soon Jaybriel came in carrying a tray. "What did I do?" asked Jade,surprized.Setting the tray down in front her Jaybriel said,"Pissed me off and lived,".Jade chuckled. "Is it poisoned?"she asked.Jaybriel sat on the bed next to her. "Yes,but it's nothing compared to what you've done,"he said quietly.Jade looked at him,confused."Eat.Ashley wants to talk to you,and then we're going to my place,"said Jaybriel. "No!"protested Jade.Jaybriel grunted."What's gonna stop me from doing it?"he asked.Jade crossed her arms and said,"I could go for three fights in one day,". Jaybriel pushed Jade onto her back and pinned her down. "You sure?"he asked,kissing Jade on the neck. "You and raven have a problem,"muttered Jade. "What?"asked Jabriel angrily.Realizing her slip Jade covered her mouth.Jaybriel started to get up,but Jade stopped him. "I haven't done anything.He always-,"started Jade.Jaybriel's amber eyes were glowing and he was ready to explode. "What does he always do and when were you planning on telling me?he asked.
