written last November 3.
She walks barefoot on the dancefloor
Her dress torn and stained with grease
With blood, wet with tears
Her lips so pale, like the moon
Those protruberant lips
And her teary eyes, sleepy and sorrowful
Almost bloody and lifeless
And her cheeks were never rosy
Oh where did all her colour go
All I see is black and white and burgundy
She's crying now, she's screaming now
I thought she was mute
But she started singing her heart away
Wounded, she bleeds
Bleeds and bleeds some more
Her sweet heartbreak melody echoes
Her sorrowful soul lingers
Her face withers
Her dancing begins
Gliding with the shadows
I see myself join her in the dark
Her secret does not remain untold
I see her finally as I face the mirror
Somehow I lost my pain.
