The 1st letter of every other line spells "Addicted to Jeremy for now."(a guy i liked)
A drug, an addiction
Is what you’ve become.
Deeply I loved you,
But it wasn’t enough.
Deny how you feel,
Cause I’ll be just fine.
I just don’t understand
What I did this time.
Can’t you see it?
You’ll always be my drug.
Tell me you don’t feel it
When give you a hug!
Eventually, I pray
That I’ll let go of you.
Dreams are all I want
Since I can’t have you.
Trust me, I’ll be dead
Without you in my dreams
Only will I be okay
If you calm my screams.
Just try it, take my hand.
My love is still alive.
Even the way we are
I know I can’t survive.
Remember who I am?
I’m not sure I do.
Every move I make
Feels so empty without you.
Must I make my plea again?
So the truth you might se?
You must convince yourself,
I can’t make you be with me.
Find the truth inside
If you love me or don’t.
Only you can decide
If you’ll be with me or won’t.
Right now you’re an addiction
And from you I can’t break free.
Nothing’s changing in my heart,
But you don’t want me.
Only time can heal
My addiction to your love.
What else is there to say,
Except, “Why am I not enough?”
