Sleep my darling little one
For the sun has gone away
And the night has come
So close your weary eyes
And lay down your head
Adventure is wating for you
Where will you be led?
As you float off to dreamland
Let your imagination take rise
Through the mist mountains
Hear the sandman’s cries
Listen to his soothing voice
Take hold of his hand
While he leads you into the unknown
Or to that far off land
When you start to slumber
Let your heart guide you
Down the Milky way
So fall asleep dear child
Until the skies turn blue
And when your eyes have opened
All will be anew
