These are some writings steming from a difficult period in life
1.
The full moon brings lack of rest and bad dreams. I can feel the heat radiating from my face. My skin is warm and clammy to the touch. I cannot think logically, no longer able to differentiate my nightmares from my waking life. My sullen eyes in the mirror show I have little to no being left, though I still have a pulse.
I am floating in purgatory. In search for something to grasp onto, only to push it away. I place my hand on your face so you will not see my intentions. My eyes give it all away. You run away when you see the noose in my hands. I only want a companion.

2.
I try to speak in vain. My mouth moves but I cannot make out the words. Deafening silence rushes through my ears. I fear I am losing my hearing. I pound the walls until my knuckles bleed. I can’t seem to get a grip from the end of my rope. I do not hear your kind words; it is all static in my brain. The dream I had of falling seemed too real as I smacked into the pavement. These arms around me seem to tight and I long for freedom, but my wings have been cut off. I look in the mirror at the little girl I used to be, smirking at me in disgust at the person I’ve become.

3.
Can you see the fear in my eyes? Keeping my head barely above the dirt as I choke out words of spite and hatred. Razorblade romances rarely end happily ever after. Permanent purgatory, strife is my element. Fading like a ghost in the moonlight, he holds his hands to my throat, feet on my head as I drown. A heaping, crumbled, broken mess kicks up from under his feet.
