Needles of Love

when he is stressed
he doesn't look for his family in need
all he does is inject himself
get high, and bleed

when he is mad
and feels like he is shamed
he takes a syringe and a strap
and injects the posion into his viens

no push on the swings
or a family picnic
he only stays inside
to go and stick it

and if his little girl
hides his wallet
he blames his wife
and it doesn't help if he's alcholic

he doesn't get clean, or pay child support
or pray to the lord above
all he does when he's alone
is reach for his needles of love
