This humorous poem is about my 2 year old daughter Sarah-Lyn.
I wanted to pull my hair out
Kick, Scream and Bite
Now I am having a bad day
Because I was up all night!
How could a child so precious so pretty so bold
Be thoughtless and cruel
And mean and cold?
Oh Rock-a my baby
Coochie Coochie Coo
Please go to sleep;
You have to go to school!
''I WANT MILK'' she cried for about an hour.
''Oh i'd put her back if I only had the power''
Lets watch Elmo!
Sarah jumped for joy,
Eat cookies with milk and play with my toys.
For such a duration I thought of retaliation
Knowing she would be tired
By the time the alarm clock went off.
She would want to stay in bed
And cover her head.
I would sip coffee and eat toast
And get my revenge and laugh the most!
But to my surprise 3 hours later
She was up and ready saying ''mom see you later!''
SCHOOL TIME!
SCHOOL TIME!
she proceeded to say
And I was stuck standing there
with a tired, tired day!!!

Sincerely an exhausted humorous mom *Frown*
