Just another random write from my 9 am computer class. There is really no story line.
Sometimes breakfast is replaced with lunch, and vice versa

He may have left the army, but the army never his soul. He paced back and forth before the class as if trying to dig a trench with the friction from his shoes. He spoke of things that should have been far beyond his comprehension, an ex-militant shouldn’t have a B.A. in computer science. Go figure
He lectured his class with the same composure as a general prepping his troops before a bomb raid. The war was with life, the enemy was technology.
“You will learn the tools of your trade. Your keyboard and mouse will be your secret weapons, as vital to your success as an AK-47 to a terrorist faction member. Currency. The almighty dollar. This will be your reward, and your war with life will be won.”
“This guy probably spent his time in the services mopping toilets and wiping dust off radar screens,” I thought to myself.
The lessons he taught only seemed confusing because of his strict morals and American ideals subliminally spewing from every corner of his sentences. In reality, his lessons were pretty straight forward, and aside from his technological propaganda, churned up memories of a high school education. Copy, paste, point, click, print, repeat.
“Hey! Where’s the thingy I put my name in?!,” a student awkwardly blurted out.
“Its right there!” The instructor said in a obviously rude tone.
What he had meant to say was “its right in front of your fucking face, jackass!,” but he remained silent in order to preserve his position at the school.
I do not mean to pass judgment on people, but I do find it ridiculous to go against human nature. “Judge and be judged.” I’m sure some well respected psychologist posted similar quotes in one of his or her many published text books, or maybe it’s just human nature that leads me to believe that. Right or wrong, humans are incapable of correctly judging anyone, no matter how many sociology courses they were taking up this semester.
After his lectures he usually found it appropriate to test our knowledge with an exam, just to make sure we weren’t writing short stories instead of listening to the sound waves coming from his direction. How could he expect us to grasp something that is moving at the speed of sound!?!
“Preposturous!” I babbled much louder then expected and in return received dirty looks from my peers, for only I knew what was so “preposterous.”
I hated the kind of people that higher forms of education created. Degrees were mass produced and given away for a dollar sign. At least half of the guys going through college came out with little or no more knowledge then they had when they went in. Maybe I was just jealous of the kind of people who had money to throw at colleges for nothing but a few more years of dicking around. Angry that I had found the hallways more interesting then the class rooms in high school. Out of the loop for so long, that adjusting had become almost impossible. Violently thrown back into an educational, social scene.
I exited the class 10 minutes early. I could not stand the foolishness of it all any longer. I believe humans are so intolerant of each other because of being taught that one is obligated to be tolerant. Everyone will find the need to rebel at some time in their life.
Everything comes down to perception, and I perceive nothing.
