A man finds himself stranded in the desert
Dry and lonely this day comes

Swift and deadly its wind strums

Sharp and rocky, it lays bare

Rattle snakes courtyard, royal heir

An airplane boldly crosses, swiftly north-bound

Sand storms surrounds it, now smashed into the ground

All thoughts of hope, the oblivion turns to dirt

You are now the property of the unforgiving desert

Looking for nourishment, you walk for miles

Stumbling through your life's toughest trials

Hitting the ground, starving and parched

You think of the bitter hours you have marched

It giggles like a child as it fills you with sand

Finally you collapse giving into its demand

Eyes getting hazy

Body getting lazy

Your chest begins to get sore

Every breath becomes chore

Soon you realize you're coughing up blood

Your head touches the ground with a soft but deadly thud

Then suddenly, the wasteland becomes lifeless

Just as it was before
