STORY OF FAITH

My Pastor once said that we walk by faith and not by sight. At first I truly didnt know what this meant. But the book of 2 Corinthians really gave me an understanding. For 2 Corinthians 4:18 says"For we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.For what is seen is temporary and what is unseen is eternal." In order for you ot look on the things unseen you must have faith for Hebrews 11:1 says"Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and the evidence of things unseen." So what that means is that we move through this world by God, his mercy and his grace, not by what man has done, created or destroyed. What is here on Earth will not be the greatest thing that we gain, but it is our afterlife that we look forward to receiving. You can survive your journey if you believe that eternity in heaven is the biggest goal that you want to reach in life. This world is not a home to many, but a pit stop to where we want to go. In the end,my faith helps me realize that whatever I dont have on Earth, I will have once I enter heaven and those will be the finer things in life.
