This creature is of our own creation
Noble blood flows through its veins
Searching for the fountain of ecstasy
The monstrosity of desire reins

In the light he is a tyrant
In the dark he is king
Alone on the throne, he is
Planning the next big thing

Screams of revenge flow
Through the city’s embrace
The coyotes howl as the
Wolves find their place

Bring forth the truth
Let the new dawn arise
Secretive whispers and
Seductive lies

All the broken promises
Will once again be our muse
The democratic corruption
And all the idealistic views

Today was the beginning
And the end
Starting all over
