Living at The Lake

The glisten of the sun shining on the water.
The ducks that fly from all that bother.

The turtles swimming and the fish that jump.
And there is that occasional stump.

The boats and the skiers making wakes
That cause the waves on the shore to break.

The Osprey's with young in their nest.
This is nature at it's best.

The cattails, the lily pads, and the trees.
The colors of the changing leaves.

A beautiful place for the eyes to see.
Oh, what a beautiful place for us to be.
