Unique

Alive for years my soul and I,
migratory, time passing by. 

Sometimes fast, a scary ride,
surviving, intact, with pride.

Fresh air, for my lungs to fill,
inhale, exhale I’m never still.

Sleep, wake, every day,
then off to work to earn my pay.

Eating and drinking for energy,
vitality for all to see.

Ears hearing every sound,
eyes picturing all around.

Speaking, listening, giving thought,
analysing all I’m taught.

Legs to stand or walk away,
to run about, and to play.

Emotions, feelings deep inside,
although, not always best to hide.

Of all a body can obtain,
live life to the full, never refrain.
