A young soul learning - Old Souls meeting...
‘T'was a Wednesday Evening in the mid to late Summer
Their eyes met a few days earlier...
Now impulse led them to Bryant Park
Dinner prior to this established a friendly understanding
Nothing between them demanding
The bubble of space remains innocent
He watched her bend and flex center lawn with gymnastic finesse.
Palms hover each over the other and felt more than thermal energy.
Blood flooding and flowing in the same opposite directions -
From above and below as they interchanged
Intrigued - both of them by this sensation found without touch -
His stomach stirs for the first time
Her dilated eyes go unmentioned.
They change the venue before assuming intentions
A late night cartoon should maintain the innocence.
A missed phone call goes unheard - unreturned with Blind Purpose.
Perhaps their blood flow off set his
So he called... sending frequencies in the night to no avail -
The reactionary injects space with A Blind Purpose -
Punishing for what he could not see.
She... not understanding could not believe he
He would cause this pain.
All because perhaps he felt her blood circulating in another's' veins
And misconstrued it for more than an encounter between two old souls
Saying:
"Hi, it's been a millennia - good to see my eyes in yours once more.
One of us is on duty teaching a young soul...
So it's not our time yet to blend reconnect and ascend - in this beautiful encounter;
We'll just be friends."
But too late; the space causes a chasm and she tumbled off the cliff.
Caused by his blind purpose she could now be lost in the abyss,
Taking more than a few millennia to regain orientation
Does her twin stand and watch her fall or stretch a hand to hold?
Since she's now off duty, the alchemy of truth could be told
In simple space and time.
Born together in eternity the distortion of physicality dissolves
Everything happens for a reason... Blind Purpose Bleeds Truth!

Crash landed on a relatives pad - he let her sleep for four days.
(Weeks later she takes him to exit four in Vermont.)
He's a Sun and every day she awoke to his rays.
Butterfly wings can't be brushed or blown dry
Only opened to potential... - the warmth within his eyes.

They breathe the same air for the first time
He gave her breath and she inhaled extending her angelic wings.
Her face reflecting his with Blind Purpose.
She's been falling but he couldn't let her even though he knew the price.
He now could die if she should leave and seek to back track time.
She seeks to hold the self she sees in him with natural rhyme.
The pain of falling fresh in mind - "I caught you Love... You're fine."
But duty plays a game of cat and mouse with the divine,
Wanting what he had and cast away and gave decline
Expected her to descend into the abyss but Angels are every where.
Angels have Angels - that's why I was there!
And Angels sacrifice themselves for each other every day.
With the choice to save the other or let duty have its way.

I can't wait another millennia - I know that you're real
Duty can never understand how what he had is real
Real enough to save even him by restoring what he failed
To see and comprehend.

It was destined... our eyes... the world does not lie
To see beyond ones comprehension - growth pains make you wise.

So now he feels the blood flow ebbing away... she's gone can't choose between duty or destiny - now she doesn't understand - this is how souls become frozen in eternity.

I fell willingly to grasp her from a tumble
I never knew the reason
Blind Purpose is never Jumbled.
My heart was encrusted with walls
With her they were all crumbled.
She freed me as I caught her
She restored me to mountains' peak.
Sun rose on her left and set on her right cheek.
Two moons always full - wane into eclipse each time we speak.
Too many pluses when we're together so neither can be weak.
Blind Purpose Proclaims Destiny when Duty feigns Complete.
