    Our First Lady Ester Hendrix 

“ The wise woman builds her house,
  But with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down”. (Prov.14: 1)



           Our first lady Ester Hendrix is an example to the women of God in Gethsemane Garden of Prayer.
Our first lady show’s her diligence by being active and establishing the values she has learned in being A mother, a daughter, a wife and most of all a child of the most high. Ester Hendrix shows so many different qualities. When she gave her life to Christ she gave her all. In this we have seen a woman who learned holiness and is still striving for perfection in her walk with Christ. To the women who are young she demonstrates love and affection, but also discipline and submission not only to her mate but also to our Lord and Savior. She has been blessed with three children Tina, Cheryl and Charles Jr. When she testifies of her trials and laughs over the childhood memories and mistakes, one can see how she learned to be a godly mother. Yes, you can see god’s blessings amongst them as they have followed in the path of priesthood and musical talents. Her children love the lord and are rendering the same values in the next generation of Hendrix’s. So many times we have seen our first lady stand in the mist of adversity and have shared her laughter, lifted her up in her seasons of pain. Spoken kinds words to let her know we are still here. Her generosity is heart felt, the phone call to check on you, the scripture in hand to teach you, the warning when your not doing right and her faithfulness to the church. We see her take on the role of leadership when in need. She let’s the young women know that there is a good season and a season of struggle and that we as women of Christ shall acquire endurance and patience. Our first lady loves to teach she has taught in the women’s ministry, she ministers not only at church but on her job and where ever she goes she is careful to show and present herself as a disciple of Christ. She loves her outreach ministry especially to the single women and those women who are babes in Christ. Recently god has called her as a missionary, her spirits have been so high. For me it shows that her spiritual growth is climbing and that she is stronger day by day in the lord. Sometimes we want so many accolades on our road in life, we want to acquire the best, be the best. I can honestly say that our first lady is like the flowers that I present to her today, she has grown, been pruned, and is blossoming in all of god’s glory, her tears have fallen on her leaves, her happiness fulfills the color’s of her life and her salvation is the bud, forever expounding in holiness. Today first lady know that we may be hard to teach and we may be hard to understand, but our love is genuine and we see all that god has placed in your hands.
