My 2nd high school poem!
A flicker lies within my head
Flicks each and everyday
An involuntary act of defense to flush my feelings away

Feelings I may have for you
May vanish with days
It does not mean I don’t have feelings for you
I’m just set that way

Please do forgive me,
For I have no intention to hurt.
My mind fears you all,
Which feeds “The Flicker” to rebirth.

The feeling of sadness,
Immune to “The Flicker”,
Always accumulates within me
Like a snowball rolled down on a pitless snowy hill.

Betrayed by happiness
An unheal wound it trigger.
Marked by a day of a million frowns,
My resistance weakens against “The Flicker”

As day became days
Sadness reached its zenith
I long for the flick to come
To flush my feelings away.
