A woman kills her husbands for the money.only one is found in the garden what 2do
The Guesthouse of Mrs. Green

After the minimal amount of questioning presented by Scotland Yard, Mrs. Abigail Green felt no longer calm as she had many hours before. Her thoughts became muddled with the facts of the discovery of her husbands’ body in the garden. By who? None other than that good for nothing gardener! Nervousness and rage stirred the blood in her veins even more as her pacing increased.

“That blasted gardener!" She hissed out. Breaking the eerie silence. "Should have never hired the bastard! I knew he was a do-gooder when I first saw him. Clearly I wasnt in the right state of mind to hire that fool!”

Her pacing came to a sudden stop when she realized what she must do. The gardener had found the body..... he alone called the police, and he alone knew the secret of who killed him and why. Albeit, for her to pass such hard judgment again on any living person. But like all other times, final judgment was fell in her hands. She alone was to be judge, jury, and executioner. She couldn't live was of commoners, she had not formed this mountain of wealth and social status she became accustomed too just to let it fall to pieces. Letting that the frilly gardener passed her defenses and telling him why and where had been a mistake. So logicaly, eliminating the problem solves everything.

Making a mad dash, through the mansion, to the backyard, where just beyond the house was the shed, where laid the axe that damned so many souls before her late husband.

Picking up the axe slowly, Abigail felt the calmness that had momentarily been lost to her return. Wickedly grinning she licked her thumb and ran it down the axes sharp edge. Blood welling on the tip of her finger, she gave a soft chuckle whishc only added to the malicious air about her. Staunching the blood flow, she picked up her skirts and walked along the darkened edges of the moonlighted pathway up to the guesthouse where the gardener and his lover took residence.

Knocking on the wooden door and hiding the weapon in the darkness she awaited for him to approach the door. A warm glow of candlelight could be seen through the window. A disheveled young man, who was defiantly not her gardener, presented himself at the door with a backward dressing gown and candle.Politely as possible she said,

“Good evening, I am sorry to bother you at this late hour. But, would you be so kind as to fetch you Ronald from your room? I wish to speak with him. Now. It is of a urgent matter.” The man skittishly ran into the adjoining room.

Mrs. Green took it upon herself to step in and wait in living room, for either the unknown man or Ronald to appear first.

Moments passes and Ronald emerged from the bedroom; hurriedly throwing down the rest of his nightgown. And nervously began, “I am sorry Mrs. Green I didn’t expect you to be by this evening. Excuse my manners, but what do you need of me at this late hour.”

“I came to discuss the discovery of my husbands body Ronald.” Coldly she retorted.

“Mrs. Green I…”

“Please, Abigail.” she soothing replied.

“Abigail…” Looking nervously over his shoulder at the man who answered the door as he made his way to the kitchen. “I just thought it was right to inform them about Mr. Green. I didn’t give anything against you I swear.”

Tisking him slightly she whispered harshly “Now, now Ronals, you should never lie to your employer. And I know you do..."

" No I don't! I would never lie to you. I told them nothing of it. Ask John, he is in the kitchen now. But I told him what was going on."

"Ask him! Ask him! I will not be told to do anything!" she scoffed angrily.

"How am I supposed to believe you of all people, that didn’t say anything? If you could tell them of the body, and be so righteous , did you tell them of yours and Johns realtionship? No of course not. You fear the gallows just as much as I. Yet,you are trying to hurry me along to them!"

“This is not a question of the company I keep! There are plently of people who love as I do. We just can't tell it to others yet.No more importantly this is about a blood thirsty woman who marries men to collect their money. And then the men mysteriously meet untimely death.”

Letting out an exasperated sigh. She monevered the axes handle behind her skirts to have a better grip. “I have come to one realization Ronald. And I really hate to make it. But it must be done to keep peace.”

“Abigail…what…”

Pulling the axe from it hiding place behind her skirts, she raised the axe swiftly above her head and implanted the blade into the gardeners’ neck. Squirting blood all over her clothes. Only a muffled cry could be heard from his lips before he fell to the floor, dead. As the blood gushed from the body that lay on the floor, she bent down to dislodge the axe from the body.

Smiling viously to herself, Mrs. Green held tight to the axe as she spotted the unknown man who stood stock still against the nearest wall. Stepping around Ronalds body, she rushed toward the man.As he tried to dash out the back she caught and pulled him by his hair into the house.

Such a long, murderous day in the guesthouse of Mrs. Green.
