Life of Me

A day in the life of me
Is a day you would not want to experience
Relationships are horrible
Feelings are hard to express
Time is spent alone in a room
I share with one who loves me
Yet I'm still not happy
Why?
The answer I have yet to learn
I wish I could be what's considered “normal”
But depression is what I feel
And fear
One day I hope to be happy
Family of my own
But right now what's in front of me
Is a life with many complications
A life that longs to be happy
But refuses to
So, a day in the life of me
