It was almost time to leave rehab
Finally clean and finally free
Living in the world of sobriety
The air is clear, no more smoke
Learning life is not a joke

Having fun with no assisstance
No more nag of the crave's persistance
My eyes are open but not dialated
A hospital bed is not how I'm fated

Overdose no longer on my lips
No confusion, no more mind slips
Memory back and wanting more
Things Im taught, I can finally store

The limit is the sky
When Im not about to die

The life I'll lead will be for good
Doing now what I finally should
Loving more and hating less
Six more days, the final test
