Halloween poem |
Johnny is a punk in every sense, For years he has snatched bags from little kids, When Halloween night comes around, Peaceful neighborhoods become his playground, Under the cover of night he waits in hiding, Soon enough a pour kid will be providing, A bag of candy filled with goodies and sweets, With enough sugar to rott all of ones teeth, But this Halloween night will prove to be different, For an evil imp vows to end Johnny's business, It dresses like a child with a daggar up its sleeve, And it can hardly wait to make Johnny bleed, Because this is the wish of the devil himself, He says, "Bring me Johnny's soul, tonight, or else!" So when Johnny attempts to snatch at its' bag, Johnny will, instead, become eligible for a toe tag, As the hour of death creeps into the present, The stage is now set under a moon of crescent, When in the distance Johnny spots an unsuspecting child, Unawares of the bag snatcher plotting to erase his smile, With a dark path selected Johnny begins his approach, In darkness he moves like a crumb snatching cock roach, As the evil imp waits for the imminent encounter, The wind begins to bustle, howling louder and louder, Lunging for the bag, Johnny seizes his prize, Never knowing that this moment would begin his demise, As the evil imp pulls back the dark red daggar, Johnny drops the candy bag commencing to stagger, And when the evil imp starts slashing and stabbing, The devil's presence can be heard with rejoice and laughing, And as Johnny's fate unfolds via hell's master, Blood soaked candy marks the death of a bag snatcher. |
