~Love’s Silver Messenger~ My little muse, draped in gossamer moonlight ~*~ The moon sends me her silver messenger, in streams that color the waves of ev’ntide. Whilst shadows break softly ‘pon th’ shore, spilling contents as soft as her angelic sighs. ~*~ Peaceful sojourns splay her twinkling crown, resting heavenly ‘pon her swiftly-spent bow. Th’ tender night wanes gently aloft th’ down, once her clad chariot ascends th’ ebon glow. ~*~ Yes, her tresses enchant almost everything, until dreams rouse from th’ midnight peace. And th’ ocean cleaves itself upon th’ strand, whence th’ rising tide of passion is released. ~*~ A sway in th’ breeze of her midnight, lilt song; an enchantment, she guiles a lovesome throng. Lovingly she’ll impart her harmonious conjure, ‘neath soft briars of her love’s silver messenger. ~*~ A chorister medley gleans high ‘bove her veil, an enrapture ‘tis spent unto her heavenly trail. Beauteous auroras burst in her Seraphim array, aloft bejewelling skies trembling in full display. ~*~ The moon sends me her silver messenger, in streams that color th’ waves of ev’ntide. Whilst shadows break softly ‘pon th’ shore, spilling contents as soft as her angelic sighs. Copyright 2007©Barbara V. Fidler and Keith Allen Staff |
