How is defined and how it should be defined
Beauty Is Vain

In today’s world we are often consumed with materialistic things. We always long for more. What we have is never enough, and outward appearance is of high importance. We spend thousands of dollars a year on make up, clothing, jewelry, shoes, perfume, and some even go as far as having surgery in order to look our best. Women go weeks without eating and spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on diet pills to lose weight. All of this work and for what? To be beautiful? We let others tell us what beauty is. We let worldly views of outward appearance drown out what really matters. Sure its nice to look and feel beautiful. Who doesn’t want to look good? But we don’t need to obsess over it. Take pride in yourself and take care of your body don’t starve yourself or inject chemicals into your body to make you look younger. Enjoy the way you look but don’t flaunt it. BE confident but humble. And always remember there is more to life than just clothes and beauty. In Isaiah chapter 3 God humbles the proud women of Judah, because they become consumed by their outward appearance. They became full of pride and God punished them by taking away their beauty. We don’t have to be the prettiest, or the skinniest. We need to be thankful for what we have and praise God for making us the ay we are. Be proud not only with yourself but give glory to God. In Proverbs 31 we find the description of a worthy woman. A worthy woman cares for her family and also cares for herself. But at the end of the chapter we find a warning. Verse 30 says” charm is deceitful and beauty is vain but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised.” Remember my friends what is important
