Wondering about you,
Where you are, and who you're with.
Wonder if we really were;
Or just my mind-created myth.

Hurting since I miss you,
Though it cannot work out.
Knowing that I said too much
To make that come about.

Knowing you won't hear me,
I'm not worth the sacrifice.
Knowing that you are alive
Just has to suffice.

Wishing that I'd meant more
To give you cause to yield.
Wishing it wouldn't be so long
To find that I have healed.
