finding a muse within another's work
My response to Author "White" poetry ""Tell Me A Happy Story"

Let me weave you a tale of comfort and hope.
Let me regale you with words of peace.
Look into the eyes of blue ocean calm,
and put yourself at ease.

A ray of sunshine caressing your face,
giving warmth where cold despair dwells.
A genuine smile upon soft lips,
understanding and compassion a bottomless well.

Weaving the strands of friendship around
the heart and soul which is undone.
An outstretch hand and a simple offer
“come.”

The whisper upon the winds of change
She calls to you… calls out your name.
“Warrior, Knight, brave one I once knew
come with me now and we will review.”

“The wonders of dreams, you once did have,
the dragons have returned and the King is mad.
To arms, to arms my brave warrior Knight,
Now is the time, it is time to fight.”

“Fight for your dreams, they need you now;
fight for the maidens, be true to your vow.
Lay low indifference and lay low the pain,
Lift your weapon, you fight not in vain.”

“I’ve faith in you brave warrior Knight,
your pain will ease, your weariness abate.
Your strength will return and fill you my friend
And peace will reign within again.”

“Reality is what we perceive it to be,
believe in your strength and believe in me.
I will not abandon the warrior Knight,
I believe in him and I believe what is right.”

“It is right to reach out, to touch and to feel;
It is right to give hope when I know it is real.
It is right to allow the soul strings to weave,
If it brings a smile and offers some ease.”

“A sweet tale of hope the muse did bid
of faith and joy for one who has hid.
A tale of understanding and of joy,
A call to the man who once was a boy.”

The first review I gave you for "I AM" was the first "5" I've ever given. Twice in one day, I've been "wow'd" by your work. So much so, that you became my own "muse" demanding a response to a poem that moved me beyond humble words.

Amazing, truly amazing.

Grazie per dividere!

Sincerely,
Terilynne
