The sequel to Black Nail Polish. Again, FiCTiON!
Chapter 19. Oh so Predictable...Or she wishes.

As advisory passed, all Rachel did was sleep. Literally, she fell asleep and Brady, Robby and Kris had to keep waking her up, and eventually they gave up. She was having another nightmare...

She saw two girls, who she knew, but had their faces a blank white spot. They were arm and arm with some boy she knew very well, but couldn't place the name. She could see his face, but it was too blurred to know who it was. The two girls were laughing at her, as she sat on the floor crying. The boy just shrugged and didn't care.

The bell rang loudly, and Rachel jerked up, real tears staining her face. She looked up and saw Robby right next to her. He said nothing, but there was a calming look in his eyes. He wasn't the cutest boy in the class, but he wasn't ugly. Plus he was very nice and funny, but he was just Rachel's friend, nothing more.

"Come on. School's out, time to go home." He said holding onto her wrist and pulling her up, then she saw Brady put up her chair for her and Kris just looking a little confused but feeling bad. Then Robby started to look at her charm bracelet, asking a question or two about where she got the charm or from who, stuff like that. Some made him and her laugh then she saw James come out down the hall, and she knew who the boy was. She held back tears as he walked up to her, she smiled (fake of course) and her, Robby, and James walked to the buses. Rachel was pretty quiet, just thinking about the nightmare she had. Who were the girls...Who were the girls...Who were the girls...

Eventually she got to her bus, said her goodbyes to the boys and loaded on. She put on her earphones and zoned out. She thought long and hard about the girls, but no answer came. Maybe they aren't real? I've always had weird dreams...Sometimes with people I don't know! I remember the evil twenty year old who tried to kill me for James liking me! This was just a random dream and the girls are no one. Betcha I'm over reacting! The dreams I'm having are malfunctioning because of me passing out and not eating! I'll be fine after some sou or something.

---

That night, Rachel woke up with a start. She was sweating, and felt like screaming. Another nightmare. This time though, there was one girl surrounded by four guys. All but one of the faces was blurred, because she had already figured that boy out. The girl in the middle was completely undetailed, she just knew the girl was there. One bo have redish brown hair, one black, the other blonde...Then James stood on the the side of girl. She was messing with him the most.

"That girl was one of the girls in my dream during advisory!" I whispered aloud. "And the blonde Camron, red head Kris, and the black haired boy Randy! This makes no sence..." Rachel rubbed her eyes and looked at her phone, it was three in the morning. She laid down, and didn't fall asleep for about an hour. Then when she woke up at 5:30, she only had another dream about a flying toilet and a cheese muffin.

"Predictable!" She yelled remembering the stupid hour and a half long dream.

Chapter 20. Who is the girl?

Who is the girl...Who is the girl...Who is the girl... Second period was ending and Rachel couldn't concentrate. She didn't even notice the bell had rung in first period. She looked at the text book she was supposed to be reading, but couldn't concentrate on the words. They were just an empty abyss. She about cried too and Mrs. Mattingly almost took a notice until Samantha's hand shot up for a 5th time.

Who is the girl...Who is the girl...Who is the girl?! Rachel slugged out of her class and met James in the hall with Robby. They were talking about the tree they had planted in history. "Hi." Rachel said gloomily.

"Hey, Rachel, can I talk to you?" James asked.

"Yeah." She replied just as depressed.

Robby nodded as James looked at him, and he left. "Rachel, what's wrong? There is something seriously going on and I need to know. I really am feeling horrible because I can't help you."

She sighed, "You can't do anything...It's either all in my head...or it's something we can't change. So don't hurt yourself caring too much..."Because you might not be there for long... She added in her head, she would never say that aloud. Tears about stung her eyes. Too much crying and too much hurt lately... She thought. James looked deep to her, looking for an answer to is question. Her brown eyes said nothing but depression.

"But-"

"No James, I'm fine just I need to think..." And she hugged him and walked away to math, leaving him in the hall watching her leave.

Who is the girl...Who is the girl...Who is the girl?! Rachel jerked up from checking her math homework. I know who the girl is! I'm so stupid! How could I not seen it before?!

Chapter 21.

"How could I have not seen it before...I'm an idiot!" She whispered.

"What?" Megan asked hearing her harsh whispers.

"Oh nothing nothing. I'm just really tired..." Rachel replied, not lying about the being tired part. She felt like just falling asleep on her desk. She laid her head on her math text book and sighed.

About twenty minutes later Megan tapped Rachel on the shoulder. "Wake up!" She said in her ear.

Rachel jerked up and screamed. Not a pitiful girly scream, but a full out afraid scream. She looked aroundadn first saw Megan, she was scared and then as she looked at the rest of the class, there were even more frightened. Only one person, including Mrs. Rey, wasn't completely scared, and that was David. He just bite his lip and stared at her. Rachel just laid her head on her desk, Mrs. Rey just finished passing out notes and the rest of the class staried. Then, a few seconds later Mrs. Dillard, whose classroom is all the way down the hall, rushed into the room.

"Who was that?!" She screeched, obvious pissed off the scream interupted her perfect orderly classroom teaching.

Mrs. Rey walked over to her and whispered something in her ear.

Mrs. Dillard walked over to Rachel and scanned over her face. Rachel sat up and looked her in the eyes. She had always hated that teacher, the first day of school she dress coded her even though being dress coded the first week, (let alone the first day!) was agaist the rules. And last year, everyone knew she was mean and rude. She has a daughter who teaches seventh grade, and she was the most fun teacher ever, and the most fun substitute the year before, until halfway into the school year she became mean and rude all because of her mother. Everyone almost hates both of the Dillard teachers now.

"I remember you." She said nodding her head with a face of utter hatred. "Now why did you scream?"

Rachel sighed and replied, "I thought I saw a huge spider on the floor, but then it was just the pattern."

"Thats not why, plus you look extremely tired, did you wake up from a nightmare or something? Because you can get detention from sleeping in class!"

"I wasn't sleeping!" Rachel protested.

Mrs. Dillard turned and asked Mrs. Rey, "Was this girl sleeping?"

Most to all of the class was Rachel's friends and knew she would be killed if she got detention, so they all shook their heads and yelled out "No!"

Mrs. Dillard told them to shut up, litterally, she said "Shut up you ignorant twerps!"

Mrs. Rey turned from the teacher to the pissed off students, who were mumbling rude comments and sticking up their middle finger under their desks. She opened her mouth and said, "No, I was watching her the whole time, she did not sleep a wink. Now since you have disturbed my class, could you please leave so I can teach them the rest of the pythagorym theroy?"

Mrs. Dillard looked shocked, but she took a last evil look to Rachel, then left the room. And when she slammed the door, the whole class began to cheer. Rachel mouthed thank you to Mrs. Rey and she smiled and mouthed a no problem back. About seconds later the bell rang and Mrs. Rey yelled out "NO HOMEWORK!" THe whole class screamed and cheered. Most gave Rachel high fives and pats on the back. But when the whole class had left, David came up to her.

"Are you OK?" He asked.

"Yeah. Why?"

"You were sleeping, and I heard you've been sleeping all day. Do you need to go to the nurse again?"

"No I'm fine." And Rachel walked away, almost angry.

Chapter 22.

Why does everyone have to bug me all the time! I hate it! Can't a girl be alone for once?! Like Hannah said, when I'm at my locker, EVERYONE is there too. Oi...

Rachel walked down the hall to her locker. She had science next with Kris and Robby, Maybe one of them will cheer me up... She opened her bottom locker and grabbed her spiral, and by the time she stood up, Kris was right next to her.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi." She replied begining to walk past Mrs. Wilson's room and towards the seventh grade hall where Mrs. Stevens classroom resides. They almost walked together but in silence, and they saw no sight of James, who usually walks with Rachel.

They turned the corner and then walked more, turned the corner again, and turn ed again making a "LEFT" from three right turns. Then as they sat down, RObby passed by her and gave her a high five, their new little weird thingy-ma-bob they do when they see each other. As the bell rang, everyone sat down and Mrs. Stevens began going over something on the overhead. Rachel tried paying attention, but couldn't stop thinking about random things like Mrs. Dillard, past dreams, why she screamed in math and ect. ect.

"Test tomorrow!" She said for a millionth time. She then went to her desk and let her students work on a three different papers she just had handed out. Rachel took a look at one paper then the next, and the next.

"What the fuck..." She whispered fiddling through the pile and understanding nothing about what an atom was. "This is too confusing..." Rachel began to drift off again for another time. She began to have a pounding headache, and was freezing to death, but her head was so warm she thought it was going to burst along with the headache. She sighed and put her head on her hands, elbows resting on the cold metal table. Nikki, Nicole, Amee and Valaria paid no attention to her, but Kris and Robby sure did. After class ended Robby came up to her and asked if she needed help with her books, and Kris just stood there, pitying her. "Thats OK Robby, but thank you."

Rachel smiled. Robby gave her a high five and the three walked out of the classroom.

---

Rachel walked down the 8th grade hall during lunch. She wasn't hungry for once, just because she was bored enough to want to walk around. And as she turned a corner, she ran full face into Randy. They bounced back, and she saw his big black hair curled everywhere.

"Hey." He said.

Rachel said nothing. She just pushed past him until he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back. Rachel glared a cold stare. "Leave me alone."

"Why should I?" He taughted raising his eyebrows.

"Because, your making everything worse! Now let me go!" She tugged her arm away, but he wouldn't let go.

"Come on Rach, you know you want me." He smiled.

"No, no I don't!" She protested, trying to fight his grasp.

"Don't fight anymore." He smiled again, trying to get her to pull through for his own purposes.

"NO!" She screamed, "Now let go before you try to fucking rape me again!" Then catching him offguard, slipped away and ran down the hall to the lunchroom.

He stood there alone. "God...When will she learn?" And he slumped down the halls, hands in his pockets, head tilted low, tears fighting out of his eyes.

Chapter 23.

Kris was walking down the 8th grade halls during seventh period, he had gotten a bathroom pass and was leisurly walking around to avoid classwork. He took a turn and spotted Randy walking all alone, looking depressed.

He yelled out to him, and watched Randy's head bolt up, tears staining his face. The boy wiped his face then ran up to Kris. "Hey." He said.

"Hey, so what's up with you?" Kris said, nodding to the tear stains.

"Nothing, why?" He replied suspiciously.

"Just wonderin' "

They trailed the halls, and talked about random stuff, but mostly about their paintball fight a few days ago with Camron, Mickyle, and even James. They laughed as they showed each other their welts and bruises, until they heard crying from the copyroom, down the hall.

"What's that?" Randy asked.

"Don't know, let's go see." Kris started to run towards the copyroom, Randy at his heels. When they reached the door, the crying and huffling got louder. "Who could it be?" Kris wondered aloud as he put his head to the door.

Randy looked through the dim window, and saw a girl with dark hair sitting on the floor, her head in her hands. Kris looked up and through the window, too and saw the girl. "Should we go in?" Randy questioned.

"Umm. I don't care, if you want to to."

"Fine, let's go in." Randy seeming excited.

Kris gripped the doorknob and turned it slowly, and when the door creaked opened, the crying stopped and the girl looked up to the two boys standing right in front of her.

"Go away!" She yelped, turning around quickly, hoping they hadn't seen her face. But they had. And they would never forget that none other than Rachel sat desperate on the floor.

"What do you want?!" She screeched, still not turning around.

"What were you crying about?" Kris asked.

"Why would you care?" The girl retorted.

No answer come from either boy. Then the girl stood up and turned around. Tears still rushing from her face. "So? Why DO you care?"

Still the boys stood there, nothing to reply with. They looked her in the eyes, and felt sorry for her. "You just going to stand there?!" She yelled.

Silence, then Rachel tried to push herself past them, but the stood like a rock and Randy asked, "Why are you crying?"

She looked up at him and had hate in her eyes, "Because you won't leave me alone." She added coldly.

"Well what am I supposed to do?" He asked.

"Get a life and stop torturing people!" She screeched hitting him in the shoulder, happening to hit a bruise he got from paintball. He cringed and his hand flew to his shoulder.

"I'm not trying to torture you!" He yelled, half from pain, half from anger.

"Then what's wrong with you?!" She screeched again. Kris just stood in shock watching the two fighting.

"I-"

"You what? What?!" She interrupted.

"I LIKE YOU! THERE I SAID IT! I LIKE YOU OK?!" He screamed in her face.

Her jaw almost dropped, but she kept it closed. "Why didn't you tell me that before?" She asked calmly.

"Because-because I was afraid at what you would say." He replied looking at his feet.

"Smooth." She sighed, then walked out the door.

Kris looked at Randy, and as his head turned up from the floor, tears began to flow again. "It's OK man, just a girl right?" Kris tried to get him to smile. It didn't work.

Chapter 24.

Rachel walked down the halls, her hair swishing behind her. Anger raging inside her. What's wrong with him! He thinks he can get any girl he wants, and then if she tried to repel he pulls her back in and tried to forcibly take over? What an idiot! Why didn't he just tell me from the begining! I swear boys now these days are- Then she saw, well...Not a pretty sight.

Renee and James stood up agaist the wall, James back to her. Renee was smiling messing with her hair, which she doesn't do ofter, or ever for that matter. Rachel sunk into a nearby hall, so she could see them, but they couldn't see her. They talked a long time, and finally when James turned around he was smiling also. They walked down the hall, laughing, giggling, and smiling the whole time. And when they passed the hall Rachel stood in, they didn't even notice her. They walked past her like a brick wall.

"Fine if it's going to be like that." She murmured. She then sulked down the hall, but the opposite way to get away from them so she could try to think with a clear mind and no interruptions for a change.

Chapter 25. Some Crazy Day.

As Rachel dragged her feet, she lead herself to the nearest open room, which is the heath room across from the gym and choir room. She could hear the stopping on the floor from the boys gym, and lots of yelling. She sat at an empty desk, noticing the overhead, turned off but had a transperency on the top. Rachel, being the nosy girl she is, tiptoed to the front of the room. She should inches from the overhead, and faintly heard the stopping from the boys gym get louder, but she paid no attention. Practicing football probably. She stepped a little closer to the over head, and on the transperency was writing all over it.

There were paragraphs and when she looked more closely she almost screamed, it was the heath unit! As in, well...they talked about your body...as in girls in one room and boys in another. She only saw a few words like "rape" and "STDs", before she could stifle a scream, the rumbling of footsteps in the hall were right outside the door!

Rachel scanned the room for some place to hide, and all she saw was a closet. She ran to the small closet and crammed into it. It had sweaty sweatshirts on the floor, with books, markers and stuffed right next to her, a blown up doll, in the shape of a human. She gagged and wanted to get out, but then she heard the door open and kids tumble into the room. The door shut, and Rachel was stuck there until 8th period ended. Forty. Minutes. Later.

---

They started by taking roll, not to the bad stuff yet. Thank goodness! Maybe they will talk about something different today...like-like...FOOD! She hopelessly thought in her mind.

But the coach was being serious today, and after roll was called he announced, "We are going to talk about the girls today instead of boys body parts because we need to learn both."

The whole class of boys cheered like wild maniacs, and probably made sexist gestures, and inside the closet, Rachel froze.

The coach flipped through papers it seemed, then turned off the lights and the over head on. Rachel heard everything, every single words said and thing done. All the laughter, everything. And a few voices she heard that were familer. About three. She could also tell by what they said and what jokes they said aloud. There was a rude comment about wanting to see pictures, where Rachel slapped herself in the face and knew it was Camron. What the hell is wrong with that boy?! Rachel ached to scream out and just punch him in the gut.

Then she heard more boys voices and the coach telling them to calm down, more like yelling, but she heard someting else. Pens clicking open then closed. Kris! He's always doing that! And then Kris asked some random question about what was the worst STD, and that reassured Rachel it was him, but not in a good way. Damn! Camron and Kris both in the same class? Oi...Well at least Randy isn- And before she finished the thought, she heard it.

A deep low grunt-ish question, then a yell from Kris, but Kris was laughing at the same time. "Randy!" He yelled, "That's just sick! I thought sweating blood was gross!"

If Kris saying it was gross, it must be terrible! He is the grossest person I know! She sobbed in her head, trying not to let it some out in tears. I want out! Out I say!

She leaned agaisnt the back wall in the closet, legs getting tired. About 10 minutes or so had passed and the worst words were heard, some never going to be passed from her lips until she dies. And as she thought in her head how much she wished she was just dead, the bell rang. But it wasn't the class bell. It was the fire alarm. YES! NOW I CAN GET OUT! YES YES YES! She yelled in her head. She could hear the boys stumble out of the room, then closing the door shut, she then heard a click.

She screamed, in joy, as she heard the click, the door was locked now. She opened the cabinet and rushed to the other side of the room, not even paying attention to the huge picture on the side of the wall, which she would have to beat up a few people later on about that. She turned the handle and she heard screaming down the hall. Something about a real fire.

"Wow." She smirked aloud.

She walked past the cafeteria, and looked in at the scuttling sixth graders. They were yelling and screaming for some reason. Rachel opened the door and pushed her way through the crowd to the very back near the lines. She saw an open oven, but nothing more. She got as close as she could without being screamed at, and saw a small flame on the floor on an oven mitt.

Rachel jumped over the railing, seeing no lunch ladies around. She was right next to the tiny fire, and couldn't do anything but laugh. She laughed and laughed until she cried, and she didn't notice the fire grow larger and crawling towards her. Rachel's tears stopped and she looked down, and screamed. She quickly stomped down on the fire, but it didn't lessen. The fire slowly tried to burn the ends of her jeans, but wasn't strong enough, yet.

Rachel yelled as the fire burned her ankle, but she didn't stop trying to put out the fire. She stomped and slowly the red flames calmed. They turned a dull orange, then faded, but the sparked stayed on the oven pitt. Rachel wipped her brow from the sweat from her forhead, half fear other heat.

She looked around and saw no one there, not even the principal or vice. But seconds later, she heard a siren from outside. FIREFIGHTERS! She thought, then tried to rush to the other side of the cafeteria. She looked dout the window to see millions of kids afraid, then a huge red beast of a car speedingly into the parking lot, fire fighters hoping out of the truck as it went. Rachel tilted open the door and walked out. She felt the burning of trillions of eyes on her, most of them scowls.

The first she saw was Mrs. Montemayor, her spanish and 8th period teacher, shaking her head. Then there was her class- Emielia, Charlotte, Jen, Betsy and lots of others, not many concerned she could have died but more so she was acting like a bitch lately.

Then she noticed Renee, just smirking at Rachel in her failed attempt to, well...Whatever Renee thought was something weird. And next to her was Camron, Randy, and Kris. She searched a little bit, but saw James right behind her, crouching low for some reason. Rachel shook her head and walked back into the school, but the firefighters had already gotten in there as she was noticing the students. One of them held her back even though she begged them to let her in, telling them she had already put out the fire. Renee must have heard because she yelled out, "Don't believe her! Not like she hasn't lied before!"

Many nodded and smiled wickedly, and Rachel shot her glare to Renee. She was angry, and stopped fighting with the firefighter just to glare with the girl. They evily stared until the firefighter turned Rachel around, picked her up and walked over the fire truck. He sat her down on the end and asked her a question or two.

"Where was the fire?" He asked nicely.

She looked down and mumbled something, as when she did, a white and black blob came out of the side of the truck. She looked up and saw a dalmation running torwards her, and she saw it was just a puppy. Rachel smiled a huge smile, she loved animals, animals of any kind.

She picked up the puppy and started to pet him on the head, scratching his ears and making him wag his tail. "The fire was in the kitchen." Rachel answered.

"Do you know how it started?" He asked.

"Somehow an oven mitt caught on fire from an oven." She smiled, petting the puppy.

"Is it still burning?"

"No, I put it out with my foot." She sighed.

"What?!" He almost screeched. He looked to her foot and saw one a little blackened on the shoe and the jeans. He slowly began to take off the shoe and Rachel bit her lip in pain. He took off her sock and and there was a large burn on her foot. There was a huge blister like burn, red and turning purple.

Rachel stared at her foot in a staring glare of unbeleif. The firefighter rushed to the door for a bag of ice, which he quickly put on her foot. Rachel's jaw was dropped, and was hoping it wasn't going to sting soon. It did.

Chapter 26.

Rachel laid on the bed in the nurses office. She looked up at the ceiling, and the strange patterns resting at the top, there only reason there to entertain the sick, injured or bored. Rachel put her right foot in the air, high enough for her to see, and it was wrapped in a huge bandage. There was blood on the side where the burn was, and Rachel had no idea why she started bleeding from a burn. Even my skin is weak! She thought helplessly.

The door to the nurses office opened slowly, and Rachel looked up to see who it was. Randy.

"What do you want?!" Rachel yelled from across the room. Randy looked up and smiled. He started to walk torward her. She backed up to the corner of the bed, "Get out of here!"

He didn't stop walking until he was right next to her bed. He had pulled up a chair and was sitting in it. "I just want to talk with you." He said blankly.

"About what? There's nothing to say about the issue." She replied stubbornly.

"I-I wanted to apologize." He stuttered but finished strong.

"What?!" Rachel questioned in a quick tone. "I mean, I mean....Thank you I guess..." She looked at him.

His eyes were true, and she knew he wasn't lying to her. "Thank you, a lot." She repeated.

"That's all I wanted to hear." He smiled, swished his hair like all boys do, then stood up. Rachel tried to stand up too, wanting to say goodbye, but her foot almost cracked under the pressure. She groaned and sat back down. He looked at her foot and how the bandages covered up until her mid-calf, the burn to her ankle. He frowned.

"Are you OK?" He asked.

"Ehh. Been worse." She sighed.

"Like when everyone was hating on you earlier after you came out of the building?" He looked up, and she knew he was one of the one who had been mad at her, but at least he had forgiven her. She had forgiven him too, thankfully.

"Yeah. Pretty much." She frowned. "And when I get home, I'll be in a butt-load of trouble..."

"I hear ya," He smiled. He patted her on the shoulder and said, "You'll get through it though. I just know it." And as quick as he came, Randy walked out of the office. Rachel smiled. I hope so.

---

School had ended about an hour ago, and since her grandparents were on a cruise, everyone at the school hated her, she couldn't walk, and her mom was at work until 6, she was stuck at the school. She had finished all her homework a long time ago, and had even started to do tomorrow's math homework from her teacher. But since he didn't understand the paper yet, she laid on the bed in the nurses office. And the very worst thing, was she couldn't listen to her ipod since she was still "at" school. Second was being in the same room with the school nurse, she was very angry since she had to stay an extra two hours for a child, and since she was already mean, whenever Rachel asked for some water or a snack she would just ignore her.

Rachel sat up and took another look at her foot. The nurse had just left the room, A little peek couldn't hurt! and Rachel started to untie the bandages. She cringed and gagged when she saw her ankle and foot. It was completely purple. Black spotches where the burn was, red where the blood oozed from the popped blisters, and searing pain cut through her. Forget it, a peek CAN hurt! She bite her lip and retied the bandages before the nurse came back. Fresh blood stained.

She laid back down and closed her eyes. What else can you throw at me?! Come on! She blinked and tears formed. Blurred, the nurse came through the door, and went straight into her little room where her desk was. She didn't even care that salt waters rained down Rachel's face. And no one even gives a fuck.

Rachel swung her legs on the side of the bed, and put them on the floor. The pain bite through her whole leg, but she stood up and staggered. She closed her eyes, and contored her face in pain. Then she walked. Walked right out of the office, backpack strapped on and everything. She hobbled on her ankle and staggered out of the school.

Chaper 27.

Rachel sat on the side on the Seven Meadows sign, that resided in the center of the neighborhood. The spinklers sat on the two sides of her, watering the flowers, and herself. The ends of her pants were soaked and her t-shirt watered down from sweat, tears and the now running water. She sat there in thought. What am I going to do now? I can't take it! She rested her hands on her fists, and thought about how badly her day went. How much longer can this go on? She stood up, hollared when her foot hit the pavement and trudged forward to her house.

Chapter 28.

8th Period, right before the Fire.

Renee sat down at her desk. She looked up at Coach Kraus, who was teaching about the Civil war. Laying her head down, then cocked her head up and saw James sitting across from her on the other side of the room. He was paying more attention to his planner than the teacher. He was flipping through it, writing stuff down and then would flip through it all over again. Renee sighed. She was depressed, Rachel was being weird and rude, plus she was accepting no help from anyone. Then the fire alarm singed and everone jumped out from their seats and ran out of the room. They could hear screaming and footsteps from all around them, as the class rushed to the outside. The whole school was piled outside, Renee and James running to the front seeing Kris and Camron. They caught up with each other, asking about the surprise fire alarm. Camron swore he saw a flame in the kitchen while passing by, but no one believed him. They all stood there, the scared girls and boys of the school behind them.

Only minutes later did they hear the sirens from fire trucks. Renee swished around and saw the red truck flying down the road and sighed. James sat down on the ground behind her to stay out of the sun light, but then stood up quickly to see Randy running torward them. James pushed Kris, Camron, and Renee out of his way and stood right next to him. He grabbed Randy by the shirt and picked him up, "Where is Rachel?" He asked calmly.

Randy squirmed, but then settled and answered, "I don't know, shouldn't you? Your her boyfriend."

James pulled him up higher and pulled out a fist and put it right next to his face, "Where is Rachel?!"

"I DON'T KNOW!" Randy screamed in his face.

Kris walked up and pulled down James' fist, "James, we were the last to see Rachel but then she ran away from us. He doesn't know where she is as much as I do. So put him down," Kris pulled his other arm down, and James set Randy on the floor.

"Whatever." James sighed and went ot sit in the shade behind Renee. The fire truck was now in the drive way, and then they saw a girl running out of the school. James didn't notice because he was too distressed, but Renee, Kris, Camron, and Randy saw who the girl was running out. Rachel.

She yelle dsome things to the firefighter trying to keep her out of the school, and her and Renee had a fight, over words and glares from 50 feet away. Camron shook his head, Kris was looking at James and Randy was staring at Rachel. Renee stood there, arms crossed, and no one bothered to tell James Rachel was all right.

---

Present.

Rachel sat on her couch, watching TV. Her sister had ran upstairs afraid of her and their mom wasn't home yet. Note, yet.

Chapter 29.

Rachel sat, alone in her scorching room. She had the highest room in the house, and it was the hottest by far. She had the fan on at all times, but the room still would burn like the inside of a furnace. She laid on her bed, sick of the heat. She had been sent there as punishment from walking home from school, which a blisters and burned foot.

She pluggled in her ipod to her isnuggle, pulled out a book, turned on the lanterns above her head and clicked off the big light. She sighed as she would turn the page, listening to My Chemical Romance play in the background. I haven't listened to my isnuggle since the night Randy came to my house... Turning the page of a book about a boy named Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third. She shuddered as she relived the past. She could almost feel the silver knife agaisnt her neck, and she felt where the cut had surged, just to make sure she was dreaming. She felt the scar, where the scab had crumbled away days ago.

She thought about that night, reliving each and every second as though it was yesterday. Then she burst back to the present by a scream from her mom. She yelled something about Rachel's cell phone (which she was grounded from) which would not stop ringing.

Rachel shook her head and grinned, "Good luck mom, that phone will be ringing all night. You'll get what you deserve." Normally she didn't finish books as fast as she hopes to, but Rachel sometimes will finish a book in a day if she sets her mind to it, and two maybe three if she really sets her mind to it. Closing the green leather-bound book, she looked over the side of her bed to her clock.

"It's only six o'clock, this will be a long night..." Rachel said aloud, ready for the day to be over with, let alone the week.
