This is a poem I wrote at a course I took. Sort of nature/beginnings.
New Time

The world was new like the wind was
As it dipped down into
The lakes as a diving fish would,
Twisting its whole self through.

Barren rocks marveled at the trees,
Envying their blooming
Tops as the murmur of insects
Gathered to a high ring,

Clean ethereal sounds, like bright
Fountains sprang from the earth
And in the serene still darkness,
Peacefulness knew its worth.

It loved the high trees and clean sounds
As the earth loved it too.
Yet it also broke apart the seas
And with truth it saw through.
