AS LONG AS WE KEEP DREAMING


As long as we keep dreaming,
we are alive, I’m sure.
Life is often shaped by dreams.
Not dreaming is death pure.

We may dream of love or fame.
Of dollars, we may dream.
Dreams are what do spur us on.
They give our eyes a gleam.

It’s better to dream but fail
to realize a dream.
Life without a dream would not
be worthwhile it would seem.

Had there been no dreamers, we
would still crawl on the earth.
Of the planes and space ships there
would have been total dearth.
