So beautiful the way she flies,
Through skies of light,
‘Cross earth she glides.
I’m torn to be there when she cries.
Hair lightly caressing her breast,
As she spins and twirls,
Giving so much more,
But so much less.
Her slender arms alight,
With splendour in dance,
Gracing the air,
Feeling so pure, so right.
Turning the eyes of every living thing,
With simple beauty,
That tares at me,
Whilst others sing.
What once was mine, forever lost,
To see but not touch, my dearest cost.
To live life in torment, to fall down and cry,
Is the price I pay, for a love that won’t ever die.
