When you love, I mean love, a poem like this is born. Take note its unconventional.
I can't shake the feelin that we moved too fast.
Then again with how many days that passed,
It felt like a lifetime that I prayed to last.
To win you back I'd write you poem and rhyme,
Hopin that time and time again I could show you how we could've been prime.
Back then by puttin 40 percent,
It became prevalent and relevant that my young heart was prepared for the beauties of love (for the beauty of you)... For the beauty of the sky bein blue simply with the thought of you.
80 percent today and its a whole new feelin,
A feelin illustratin how I'm constantly dreamin.
Stuck in the past yet scopin the future,
'Cause I'm trying to make the present last.

But then my head starts spiralin.
What is she thinkin...? so then the questions start flowin in.
Why won't she tell me? Does she fear gettin hurt again?
Or is her silence jus her own fear settlin in?

In my memory you were more than a blessin,
'Cause you still got me confessin the lesson,
That you taught on how to treat you with love and embrace.
And for me if it was only a touch,
How it would mean so much,
If you never forgot my sexy face.

Only 19 years and I wish I was your age,
It don't matter since I think you're on my page.
As if you were sage your wisdom guided me.
Even though free you still got me thinkin of possibilities [of you and me].

This love raised me as if I was a baby still stuck in the late 80s,
And now I'm a man, baby you made me.
You gave me different challenges daily,
And that taught me to face them bravely.
Your heart is what you gave me then and now I'm giving back.
Just tell me when I've given enough and when I'm back on track.
